1. Introduction

This website www.zaraszouk.co.uk , is an online bellydance shop, is owned by Zara Abdelrahman as a Sole Trader with help from her mother, Sandra Abdelrahman. You can find out a more personal about our story here

2. Placing an Order

  • You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time. If you have any problem you can call Sandra on 0785 402 3948  .

  • When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.

  • We try to show as  accurately as possible the colours of our products on the website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual goods.

  • Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

​

  • This contract is covered by English law.

​

  • By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy.

  • Postal charges will be shown prior to you placing your order.

​

  • You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.

​

  • We use secure payment facilities for online purchases via PayPal. We also accept payment via bank transfer and cheque - however you will have to contact us for arrangement of these options.

  • All prices on our website are in UK pounds.

Why do we use your personal data and what personal data do we collect?

We use your personal data to process your order, deliver your order to you, notify you of delivery status and to handle returns and complaints.

 

We collect the following personal data:

  • contact information (such as name, address, email address)

  • personal size information (for special order requests)

  • payment type

  • Payment service providers for your payment such as banks and PayPal (Please be aware that these companies have an independent right or obligation to process your personal data).

  • Delivery service  providers – Royal Post, Parcel Force or other shipping providers but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.

  • In cases where we are required by law to pass on information or if we believe action is necessary for fraud, cyber crime etc.

 

What are your rights?

  • You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold on you at any time. You can contact Zara’s Zouk and we will provide you with your personal data via e-mail.

  • You have the right to amend any information we hold.

  • You have the right to delete any personal data at any time except when we are in the middle of completing an order from you.

  • If you sign up to our newsletter/ezine, Zameena, we send you a copy approximately once a month.

  • You have the right to opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link which is each Zameena email.

 

How long do we save your data?

  • We will keep your data as long as you are an active customer.

  • We will keep your personal data for 36 months after your last purchase.

 

4. Postal Info

Post UK 

  • We aim to send your item/s to you within a working day of you placing your order but this is not always possible.  We will email you to let you know when to expect delivery.

  • For orders up to £80.00 shipping is charged depending on weight and size of package, smaller and lighter items being £2.50, bulkier slightly heavier items or multiple buys being £4.50, very large, multiple item, heavier items and those with an awkward shape are in the £6.50 band. This is sent via Royal Mail signed for and tracked delivery.  Your parcel should arrive within 1-3 working days.

  • Orders over 2kg may be posted in two parcels or sent via Parcel Force, this will not increase your postage price it will still be capped at £6.50.  Your parcel should arrive within 1-4 working days. We will inform youif this is the case.

  • Orders over £80.00 have free postage and are sent by Royal Mail signed for and tracked delivery. Your parcel should arrive within 1-3 working days.

 

Post Overseas

  • For countries with in the European Union the postage rates calculated by weight and are as follows :

5. Returns

It is easy to make a wrong purchase online and we are happy to make returns as easy as we can.

  • You have the right to cancel your purchase and return goods without having to give a reason and you have 30 days beginning on the day you receive the goods to do this.

  • You must send the goods back to us, trackable post is best, to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or defective) as soon as possible once you have cancelled the contract. 

  • Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract and you have returned the item/s, the money you have paid us will be refunded to you as soon as possible.
